Using the application

  1. 01

Open Maps and enter a destination, or choose an upcoming calendar event.

  2. 02

Compare routes with travel time, the event address, and current conditions. With permission, vehicle range can add a charging stop.

  3. 03

Select the route and start guidance. Keep the event’s arrival time visible while navigating.

Using the desktop App Card

  1. 01

A departure card shows where you are going, when to leave, and why the timing changed.

  2. 02

Start navigation directly, choose another mode, or open the route inside the original event or message.

How the context connects

Only the sources you have connected and allowed

Calendar & messages

Use the actual appointment time and shared destination.

Traffic, location & weather

Update the route using relevant current conditions and allowed location access.

Vehicle

If connected, account for range and suitable stops rather than assuming they are needed.

What you authorize

Choose location access, travel mode, and vehicle connections. A suggested departure time does not automatically reschedule the appointment.

When the agent works

Prepare before the event, then update on a meaningful traffic or destination change.
